At Exec Armor, we understand that maintaining your armored vehicle is crucial for ensuring its performance, safety and reliability. Our specialised maintenance services are designed to keep your vehicle in top condition, so you can have peace of mind knowing that you’re protected at all times. We service every category we build — SUVs, sedans, trucks, CIT vehicles, specialty builds and limousines.
Armored vehicles undergo unique stresses and strains due to their added weight and specialised components. Regular maintenance is not just about routine check-ups; it’s about ensuring that every aspect of your vehicle is functioning correctly and efficiently. We service vehicles built by us, by other armorers, and we re-certify older armored vehicles for extended service life. Genuine OEM-equivalent spare parts are stocked on-site for fast turnaround. For new armoring projects or limo conversions, our maintenance team coordinates directly with engineering for a seamless build-to-service handoff.
Top-to-bottom check of armor integrity, glass, suspension, brakes and electronics. Documented report provided.
Fluids, brakes, suspension and ballistic-grade fastener torque checks. OEM and armored-grade parts.
OEM and Exec Armor parts installed by certified armored-vehicle technicians. Re-validation if armor was touched.
Coverage backed by our global service network — dealers and facilities worldwide.

Armored vehicles should be serviced every 8,000 to 15,000 kilometres or every 6 months, whichever comes first — a more aggressive schedule than the unarmored equivalent, because armored vehicles work their suspension, brakes and tires harder due to the added weight. Heavy-use vehicles (fleet operations, security details with high daily mileage) should be on a 6,000 km / quarterly service interval.
Regular service includes: complete fluid changes (engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, differential oils — we use OEM-spec or higher), brake inspection and replacement of pads/rotors as required (armored vehicles typically replace brakes every 50,000 to 80,000 km versus 100,000+ for unarmored), suspension inspection (springs, shocks, bushings, ball joints, tie-rod ends), tire inspection and rotation (with armor weight, even tire wear is critical), all-wheel-bearing inspection, full electrical-system test including battery, alternator, starter, and ballistic-grade fastener torque-check throughout the vehicle.
Every annual service also includes a full armor-integrity inspection: visual and structural inspection of every armor plate and bond, transparent-armor inspection for delamination or impact damage, run-flat tire inspection, blast-mat integrity check, and door-hinge wear inspection. We provide a written report after every service, with photos and recommendations.
Yes. Our maintenance facility services armored vehicles regardless of who originally armored them. This includes vehicles built by Inkas, Streit Group, Lasco, Mahindra Armoured, IAG, ArmorMobil, and many smaller specialist armorers. We perform full ballistic integrity inspections (visual, structural-bond testing, and where requested, X-ray inspection), suspension and brake refresh, armor-glass replacement, security-electronics service, battery, alternator and HVAC repairs.
For service of non-Exec-Armor vehicles, we charge a modest documentation premium on the first visit ($1,500 to $3,000 depending on platform complexity) — this covers the time required to inspect the vehicle, map its armor architecture (since we don’t have the original build drawings), and document the build specification for our internal records. Subsequent visits are charged at our standard service rate.
We also offer a re-certification service for older armored vehicles — typically 12 to 15 years old — where we strip the interior, inspect every armor plate and adhesive bond, replace any compromised material, and re-issue ballistic-validation paperwork. This is especially valuable for fleet operators looking to extend the service life of an existing armored vehicle rather than replace it. Re-certification cost runs roughly 25 to 40 percent of a new build, and lead time is 6 to 8 weeks. The re-issued ballistic certification is recognised by major insurers and most regulatory bodies worldwide.
Every Exec Armor new-build vehicle ships with a 24-month / 50,000 km warranty covering ballistic-armor integrity, transparent-armor structural integrity, custom interior workmanship, and any modifications we make to the OEM powertrain, suspension or brakes. The OEM warranty on the original platform (typically 4 years / 80,000 km for premium platforms) is preserved as long as we work within OEM-spec parts.
Coverage specifics: any failure of armor steel, transparent armor, ballistic glazing or armor adhesive bonds is covered under warranty — including delamination, structural cracking, fastener failure or premature corrosion. We will repair or replace the affected component at no charge during the warranty period. Coverage extends globally — if your vehicle is in Riyadh, São Paulo, Lagos or Manila when an issue arises, our service network can dispatch a certified technician or, for major repairs, arrange transport back to a regional service facility.
The warranty does not cover damage from ballistic events (use the vehicle’s insurance for that), modifications by third-party servicers, neglected maintenance that compromised the armor envelope, or normal wear of consumables (brakes, tires, fluids, bulbs). Extended warranty coverage is available up to 60 months / 200,000 km for an annual premium of roughly 2 to 4 percent of the original build price — many of our institutional fleet clients elect the extended coverage. We also offer a "white glove" service contract that covers all scheduled maintenance, all repairs and all parts for a fixed annual fee — popular with corporate fleet operators who want to budget service costs predictably.
Pair this with another Exec Armor build or service for a complete protection package.
