Armored Limousine

Luxury. Discretion. Total Protection.

Exec Armor limousines are the pinnacle of our craft. Hand-built interiors, bespoke layouts, premium audio-visual integration and discreet ballistic protection — all in a vehicle that drives, rides and presents like the factory original from the outside. Most builds start with a factory long-wheelbase armored sedan or a stretched armored SUV platform.

Our limousine builds serve heads of state, royal families, Fortune 500 chairs, sovereign-wealth principals and celebrity clients who demand the highest possible standard of luxury and security in one vehicle. Every limousine is a one-of-one build. We do not maintain a "stock" configuration for limousines; every detail is specified during the design workshop and crafted to your specification. The interior side of the build is handled by our limo conversions team; the ballistic side by our vehicle armoring team.

  • BR6 / BR7 ballistic envelope — invisible from outside

Armored Limousine Questions

The questions our specialists hear most about armored limousines. Have one we haven’t covered? Call (905) 532-9708.

A long-wheelbase factory sedan — for example, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class or the Bentley Mulsanne — is built by the OEM with an extended wheelbase, longer doors and an extended rear cabin. The chassis, electrical architecture, suspension and powertrain are all engineered as a coherent platform. When we armor a long-wheelbase sedan, we work within the factory-engineered platform; the result is a high-quality, mass-production limousine with armor integrated. Build time runs 14 to 18 weeks; total cost (including base vehicle) typically runs CAD $400,000 to CAD $700,000 depending on options.

A stretched limousine is a sedan or SUV that has been physically cut and extended after leaving the factory. The chassis is welded longer (typically 30 to 80 inches beyond factory), additional doors are fabricated, the electrical and HVAC architectures are re-engineered for the longer cabin, and the entire interior is hand-built to a bespoke specification. Stretching is a specialised craft; the build quality varies enormously between converters. Our stretched limousine work — primarily on the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator platforms — is done in-house with full ballistic integration during the stretch process. Build time runs 22 to 32 weeks; total cost typically runs CAD $300,000 to CAD $550,000 depending on the platform and options.

For most executive clients, we recommend a factory long-wheelbase platform with our armor. For event-transport, head-of-state arrival vehicles or specific configurations (e.g., facing-rear seats with conference layout), a stretched build is the right call.

Yes — and this is one of the key advantages of building a stretched limousine in-house rather than buying a stretched limousine from a third-party converter and trying to armor it afterwards. When we do the stretch and the armor as a single integrated build, we engineer the ballistic envelope into the extended chassis from the beginning. The additional doors and cabin sections receive the same multi-layered ballistic-steel armor and transparent armor glass as the original cabin sections. The structural welds where the chassis is extended are reinforced with additional armor plate, which actually makes the stretched section stronger than the original factory chassis section in some respects.

When clients bring us a third-party stretched limousine and ask us to armor it afterwards, we typically have to decline or charge a significant premium. The reason: many third-party stretch converters use shortcuts in their chassis welding and electrical architecture that make ballistic integration difficult and that compromise structural integrity once armor weight is added. We’ve seen stretched limousines with weld points that we did not feel comfortable adding 700 kg of armor mass to.

For BR7 protection on a stretched limousine, the build complexity increases further. BR7 transparent armor is heavier than BR6 (typically 35mm to 40mm thick versus 26mm), which means door hinges, regulators and HVAC ducting all need additional reinforcement. The most-complex BR7 stretched limousines we’ve built — heads-of-state vehicles — have weighed over 5,000 kg in finished form and required completely custom suspension and brake systems.

Almost anything you can imagine, and several things you probably can’t. Our limousine interiors are designed and built by our master interior team — six craftspeople including upholsterers, woodworkers, metalworkers and electronics specialists. Every limousine interior is one-of-one.

Common configurations: facing-rear executive seating with conference table for 4 to 6 passengers; lounge-style seating with bar, refrigerator and ice maker; mobile-office layout with desks, screens and high-bandwidth data links; family configuration with child-safety seating integration; head-of-state configuration with privacy partition between passenger and driver cabin; press-conference configuration with retractable microphone and lighting rigs.

Materials: full-grain leather from a half-dozen tanneries (Connolly, Bridge of Weir, Nappa, custom-sourced exotic leathers); hardwoods from European sustainable forestry (American walnut, English oak, maple, ebony); marbles and stones for floor and console insets (we’ve done Carrara marble, Sahara Noir, lapis lazuli inlays); custom metalwork in titanium, brushed aluminium, polished stainless steel, gold-plated brass.

Electronics: 4K and 8K rear-seat displays, satellite TV and broadband, Bose / Bowers & Wilkins / Mark Levinson custom audio, dedicated rear-cabin climate zones (we’ve done builds with 8 independent climate zones), ambient lighting with millions of colour variations, programmable scene modes (theatre, dinner, conference, sleep), secure-voice and secure-data communication suites integrated into the interior architecture.
