Exec Armor builds cash-in-transit vehicles for the largest CIT fleets in the Americas, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Africa. Our CIT platform philosophy: low total cost of ownership, fast lead times, proven reliability and full compliance with the regulations of your operating jurisdiction. For mission-specific custom configurations, also see our specialty vehicles.
Cash-in-transit is a fleet category that prioritises economics over prestige. Our CIT builds are engineered to deliver a long service life at the lowest practical operating cost — using OEM-common platforms, simple-to-service ballistic packages and standardised cargo configurations. We can deliver fleets of identical vehicles on a coordinated production schedule, or single-unit builds for smaller operators. Every CIT build is delivered through our standard armoring process, with fleet-wide maintenance contracts and OEM-equivalent spare parts available globally.

Our most-popular CIT platform. Low operating cost, easy global service, three cargo lengths and roof heights available.
Premium CIT platform with the longest service life. Best ride quality and driver fatigue management on long routes.
Mid-size CIT for urban routes. Easier parking and manoeuvring than full-size Sprinter, lower operating cost.
Body-on-frame American van. Strong payload and tow capacity, simple mechanicals, very low service cost in North America.
Small-format CIT for urban deliveries. Lowest fuel cost in the lineup, ideal for high-stop-count routes.
Sprinter platform sold through Freightliner dealerships in North America. Identical to Mercedes Sprinter, sometimes lower acquisition cost.
Korean platform popular in emerging-market CIT fleets. Low entry cost and reasonable parts availability in Asia and Latin America.
North American Nissan commercial van. Strong payload, V8 power option, reasonable cost of ownership.
Front-wheel-drive Italian platform (Fiat Ducato). Low cargo-floor height makes loading/unloading faster.
Private threat assessment and platform selection with our specialists.
CAD design of the ballistic envelope tailored to your vehicle.
In-house manufacturing by certified armored-vehicle technicians.

The questions our specialists hear most about cash-in-transit vehicles. Have one we haven’t covered? Call (905) 532-9708.
CIT regulations vary widely by country. Most jurisdictions specify minimum ballistic protection (typically CEN BR4 for normal-threat areas, BR6 for high-threat), cargo-compartment construction (typically a steel-bolted safe-floor with anchor points), driver-compartment isolation (a steel-and-glass grille separating cab from cargo), GPS tracking, dual-key cargo access, and incident-recording video. Some countries also require external siren and warning-light packages, panic-button systems and direct radio linkage to law enforcement.
Our standard CIT build meets the most common regulatory requirements across the major operating jurisdictions: Canada, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and India. For each fleet order, we provide a full compliance specification before quote — confirming that our build meets the specific requirements of your operating country (or countries, if your routes cross borders).
We can also customise the build to meet specific operator requirements. Common customisations: extra-deep safe-floor for armored-truck operators with heavy coin-cargo routes, refrigerated compartments for cash-and-valuables-in-transit operators handling pharmaceuticals or perishables, secure-pass-through mechanisms with mantrap-style staging compartments for high-value-cargo operators, and integration with proprietary fleet-management systems including telematics, fuel cards and route planning.
For a single CIT vehicle, our standard build runs 10 to 12 weeks — slightly faster than passenger-vehicle builds because the cargo-compartment armor is simpler to fabricate than passenger-cabin armor. For a fleet order of 5 to 25 vehicles, we typically deliver the full fleet within 14 to 18 weeks because we run multiple builds in parallel. Larger fleet orders (25 to 100+ vehicles) run on a coordinated production schedule that delivers vehicles at a constant pace — typically 4 to 6 vehicles per week once production reaches steady state — which means a 100-vehicle fleet can be fully delivered within 25 to 30 weeks.
The first batch of a fleet order takes the longest, because we engineer a standardised build sheet that will be replicated identically across the fleet. Once the first vehicle is approved by the client, subsequent units come off the line in steady cadence with minimal engineering variance. This is the key economy of a fleet order: per-vehicle pricing drops by 12 to 18 percent versus single-unit pricing, because engineering and tooling costs amortise across the fleet.
If your CIT operation has a hard regulatory deadline (new ballistic-standard rollouts, contract-mandated upgrades, etc.), tell us early. We keep a small queue of expedited production slots for fleet operators with mission-critical timelines, and we can prioritise your order over discretionary single-vehicle work.
Every Exec Armor CIT vehicle ships with a comprehensive documentation package: a build specification listing every armor component, ballistic-test certifications (CEN, NIJ or both, depending on the standard your jurisdiction requires), a chain-of-custody document tracking every panel and plate from raw steel to installed component, the vehicle’s ballistic-test report (witnessed by an independent inspector if your jurisdiction or insurer requires), and the engineering drawings of the ballistic envelope with detailed location of every plate and bond.
For insurance purposes, this documentation is normally sufficient to satisfy CIT operator insurance underwriters in any jurisdiction we ship to. Most insurers (Lloyd’s syndicates, AIG, Munich Re, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, Zurich North America) recognise Exec Armor builds at standard CIT premium rates without additional vetting.
For regulatory purposes, the documentation supports CIT-permit applications in jurisdictions that require armored-vehicle registration beyond standard vehicle plates: Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, India, the Philippines and several others. Our logistics team prepares the documentation translation, notarisation and apostille if your jurisdiction requires those steps. We have experienced staff who understand the registration processes in over forty countries and can advise on lead times and gotchas in advance.
Warranty: every CIT build is covered by our 24-month ballistic-armor warranty and global service network, regardless of operating jurisdiction.
