The armored Toyota Land Cruiser is the platform we recommend for any client whose vehicle must operate reliably in regions where service infrastructure is limited and conditions are extreme. The Land Cruiser 300 chassis is the same one used by the Lexus LX 600 — but with a simpler interior, lower base cost and the Toyota global service network behind it. We build the armored Land Cruiser in BR4 through BR7 from our Vaughan, Ontario facility.
For institutional clients — NGOs, security operators, energy and resource companies, diplomatic missions in difficult postings — the armored Land Cruiser is the only platform where global serviceability, cold-and-heat tolerance, fuel-quality tolerance and platform reliability are all class-leading at the same price point. Parts are available in Toyota dealer networks in over 170 countries. The engine and drivetrain tolerate diesel and gasoline of widely-varying quality. Cold starts at minus-40°C and operation at plus-50°C are both documented in factory testing. For predominantly off-road or rough-road operating profiles, the Land Cruiser is the platform we recommend most often. Our armoring process and service network support the platform globally.
Every Exec Armor build is engineered to the protection level appropriate to your operating environment. The most-popular package for this platform is CEN BR6.

Five reasons, in order of importance to our institutional clients. First, global parts availability — the LC 300 is sold and serviced in over 170 countries through Toyota dealer networks, which means scheduled and unscheduled service is reliable anywhere in the world. Second, mechanical durability — the LC 300 chassis and powertrain are engineered for million-kilometre service lives, with documented reliability in the most-demanding operating environments. Third, fuel and operating tolerance — the platform runs on the widest range of fuel qualities and survives the harshest operating temperatures of any platform we armor.
Fourth, low total cost of ownership over 10-plus years — parts cost roughly 40 to 60 percent less than European luxury alternatives, service intervals are longer, and the platform requires less specialist intervention than any other armored SUV. Fifth, base vehicle cost is CAD $35,000 to $50,000 lower than the equivalent-spec Lexus LX 600 because there’s no Lexus-brand premium — yet you get the same chassis, same drivetrain, same off-road capability. For institutional fleet clients prioritising lifetime reliability and serviceability over interior luxury, the Land Cruiser is the obvious choice.
Mechanically: nothing. The armored Lexus LX 600 and the armored Toyota Land Cruiser 300 share the exact same body-on-frame chassis, the same 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine, the same drivetrain, the same suspension architecture and the same off-road geometry. From an armored-vehicle perspective, the platforms are interchangeable.
The difference is in interior trim, sound insulation and optional luxury equipment. The LX 600 adds approximately CAD $35,000 to $50,000 in factory-equipment premium for: leather throughout (Land Cruiser uses synthetic in most markets), Mark Levinson audio (optional), 22-inch wheels (option), additional sound-deadening insulation, Lexus-specific interior trim and dashboard architecture, and Lexus dealer-network access. For clients who want the platform’s underlying durability and don’t need the Lexus appointments, the Land Cruiser saves real money — typically CAD $35,000 to $55,000 on the total project versus the equivalently-armored LX 600.
Yes. Our parts desk maintains a stocking inventory of OEM-equivalent armored-specific components (run-flat tire inserts, ballistic-glass replacements, suspension upgrades, ballistic-steel patch panels) in Vaughan, with global shipping turnaround of 48 to 72 hours. For factory Toyota service parts (oil filters, brake pads, sensors), we rely on the Toyota dealer network in your operating market — which means parts availability is local and immediate in most countries.
For major service work involving armor or ballistic-grade components, we typically fly a certified armored-vehicle technician to your location, or arrange shipment of the vehicle back to Vaughan on an enclosed-transport round trip. Annual ballistic-integrity inspections are recommended for all institutional fleets and can be performed at your facility or ours. Service-contract pricing is available for fleet operators that want fixed-price annual maintenance with guaranteed response times.
